Technology / Goals

.NET Framework was used as the core backend language to ensure robust performance and scalability.

 

PCAN-Basic API was integrated to enable seamless communication with PCAN PC hardware, supporting CAN and CAN FD. This cross-platform design ensured flexibility and allowed the software to be ported easily if required.

 

SQL Server with Stored Procedures was implemented for secure, reliable, and efficient data management.

 

The project’s goal was to combine cutting-edge technology with biological diagnostics, developing an application that could analyze biochemical changes in the uterus with high accuracy — a pioneering step in healthcare technology.

Project Overview

The NIR Analyzer project aimed to revolutionize diagnostic healthcare by bridging medical biology and software engineering. The application was designed to process and visualize real-time data from a probe analyzing the uterus, giving healthcare providers a clearer understanding of patient conditions.

 

This was a highly unique project, with no prior references or similar implementations available, making it both challenging and innovative.

Challenges

Merging technology with biological diagnostics posed a significant challenge, as the integration required a deep understanding of two vastly different fields.


The uniqueness of the project meant that there were no pre-existing references or similar applications to guide the development.


Ensuring accuracy, reliability, and secure data storage was critical, since the system would directly impact patient healthcare outcomes.

Solution

Our team engineered a robust solution by building the application in .NET and integrating it with the PCAN-Basic API to process real-time probe data. The application captures biochemical changes, processes them, and generates graphical data outputs, enabling doctors to interpret patient health conditions with clarity.

 

We also implemented patient history tracking, allowing the system to store all previous visits and analyses. This feature provided healthcare providers with a comprehensive overview of each patient’s condition, helping in more informed decision-making.

 

The final product was a unique, innovative healthcare diagnostic tool that effectively aligned technology with medical science, setting a new benchmark in biological diagnostics through software innovation.
